So today I did my interview with Mr. Howie Dorough for the local newspaper as a preview for the upcoming concert here.
Turns out, Howie comes through here all the time and stops at a local Japanese steakhouse that I just interviewed last week (when I talked about staring at sushi for 45 minutes lol). Howie was really nice.
Very nice, in fact, my love for Howie has moved up because of his excitement for the show. He’s very excited about the concert and says that some of his family that leaves nearby will probably be coming. To say the least, talking with him for fifteen minutes was probably some of the best 15 minutes in my short career so far.
On top of interviewing Howie today, yesterday I found out that I won a first place award from the Associated Press for a layout and design that I did last October. I don’t really know anymore, but the Associated Press is a big deal. So I’m hella excited! It was just a year ago today that I was offered the job here at the paper and a year ago tomorrow that I graduated college.
I’ve really come a long way in a short amount of time I guess.
In other news, I updated “Superstar” with Chapter 9 :) I’m kind of stuck on Chapter 10. Please let me know where YOU want the story to go. Hell, post here on the comments and discuss with other readers! I’d love your opinions :)

OK. I read the Superstar update and thought oh no you didn’t. lol. I’m guessing you’re going for the Nick doesn’t do everything the easy way and had to create some drama route with the story. I’m liking it. wouldn’t it be funny if the shoe were on the other foot and Taylor shoots down his advances once he realizes he does like her.

Oh you lucky woman. All that sweetness to yourself for a bit. I know you enjoyed it a lot. Good for you since you have worked so hard to get where you are. Of course if you ever get to interview Nick you can mail him to me with a red ribbon around his neck. Keep up the awesome work.

I can’t believe Howie comes to town often! That is exciting!
