Best thing that’s ever been mine…

I’m getting a story idea for it, possible for the “Superstar” sequel, but I’m still waiting until the entire “Speak Now” album comes out before I even start that.
I’ve been on a “Dexter” kick the past few days. I can’t do anything but watch the show. If you don’t know, it’s a TV show about a serial killer who kills bad guys. It’s fucking awesome. It’s even given me a story idea but I’m not sure if I can write it. I’ll have to contemplate it and I refuse to start anything else unless it’s a songfic until “Turn Right” is done.
Today I’m going to try to write some on “Turn Right” and hopefully have an update for you guys tonight. I’m still a chapter or two ahead of myself but I want to keep it that way. I found out yesterday that I’m going to be making some extra money at work by videoing one of my BFF and co-workers side job doing a college pre-game show and having it stream online before the games. So that makes me happy, except he’s teasing me about how he’s going to be the talent and I have to make his talented ass happy. *sigh* Damn boys. Extra money is extra money though!
On Sunday, I added a new story to the site. It’s called Kismet. It’s also on Fan Fic Nation, but I figured I would try to move my regular fiction stories over here so that non-NASCAR fans wouldn’t have to sign up for a NASCAR site to read them. My NASCAR stories are staying over there though!
Anyway, this story is personal for me for several reasons. It’s based on some things I wrote in high school. The characters are based loosely on real people, with dreams that just didn’t come true. It’s based on a script I wrote on my word processor while I was in high school, almost completely. The characters, the storyline, etc. It’s a romance story.
I also just added a songfic that I had taken down a long time ago, called Red Ragtop. It’s a songfic based on the controversial Tim McGraw song. It pissed a lot of people off when I wrote it, but I’m re-adding it.
I’ve been looking through my old stories and honestly, besides the ones that have been long lost… they are all mostly here. I thought I had all of Back At One, but alas I don’t. So I will add more big snippets to the site of that for those that loved that story.
I have a few questions for Ask Karah for the next update, so if you have anything you want to ask, just Ask Me :)

“Mine” is just so catchy. I was such a dork last Friday night. I was channel surfing and saw that CMT was working for us again. I was able to catch a repeat of the premiere of the music video and proudly sing along. LOL She writes such catchy songs.
That boy has always loved teasing you. :P
I really need to get myself around to rereading your old stuff again. Oh, the memories…
Though I have had my smart phone for a little bit, I’m still debating whether or not I want a Twitter account.

Yes, he has always loved teasing me since I joined the college paper. Now it’s carried over into the actual workforce. LMAO!
I haven’t seen the video yet! I need to get over and watch that. I love “Mine” though. I’m hoping the rest of the album is as good as that.

I have so read Kismet before! I thought the name sounded familiar. I think I’ll re read it again. I loved it. :)
And your idea has me intrigued. I seen you talking about it on Twitter. I couldn’t stop laughing at the context you put behind it, but it makes perfect sense. I know you could pull it off. :)
Yay for the Superstar sequel! Can’t wait for that one.
Anyway, thanks for the long update letting us know whats going on! I haven’t seen much from you the past couple of days.. I think we all miss you when you’re MIA.
I can’t wait for more Turn Right myself… :P

I really do like your story idea. I just don’t know if I’d be able to write it but if anyone could, I guess it would be you. You’d have do a bit of research, which isn’t anything new, but I still like the idea. LOL
If I like the idea, and you created the idea and we LOVE Dexter, does that make us deranged? LOL
