The first layout for "Back At One" in January 2000.

May 1, 1998 – I see the Backstreet Boys at Grad Nite, a night at Disney World for high school seniors. I fall in love with Nick Carter. Or lust. Either one.

October 19, 1999 – The site began as a humor / fan fiction site with a high school friend (we had graduated high school the year before), called “Boys In A Bottle.”

December 1999 - I  start writing my first story, a very “Mary-Sueish” story called “Back At One.”

October 2000 – I renamed it “My Confession” due to the fact that the stories were “my confessions.” Plus there was a line in “Shape of My Heart” where Nick says “I’m here with my confession… got nothing to hide no more… I don’t know where to start….”

July 2002 – A clip of Nick Carter’s song, “My Confession” is leaked online.

December 2003 – Site closes due to various reasons and my college career restarting again.

2007 – Backstreet-Fiction.Com opens up and the stories are put back online.

March 2008 – My Confession comes back online and is here to stay!

April 1, 2008 – My Confesion is moved back to it’s old domain name, My-Confession.Net

March 2010 - I decide to make the site more personal where I blog and interact with readers more.

September 15, 2010 – The stories are now for logged in users only.

July 2011 – Lisa has joined the site as a writer and the site will now be semi-New Kids on the Block related. Karah asks Nick about fan fiction at soundcheck in Orlando for the NKOTBSB tour. My Confession is mentioned.

December 2011 – Personal things were taken down from the site. It goes back to being more about fiction.

About Karah
I'm not your typical southern belle. I don't like peaches or sweat tea. I like dirty words and dirty jokes. I'm a '80 baby and I work in the media industry. I write, design and take photos for work and pleasure. I'm a sports lover. I like boys who drive fast cars and play the guitar. Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter, Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan and any 80's hair bands rock my world. I've been writing Backstreet Boys fan fiction since 1999, when I created what would become My Confession. It left for a few years when I went back to college, but it's back.
