Heylooo! Yes i know I’ve kinda been MIA the past week or so, but with it being Xmas season at work i’ve been rushed off my feet, and my social life seems to be picking up a little with that as well, = me being one tired bunny!

I love Kelly Clarkson’s new album! It’s fucking AWESOME. I’ve been listening to it non-stop the past two days and one of the songs has made me rename the sequel to “Nothing Like This.” The title will be “Breaking Your Own Heart.” I might make a banner for it this weekend because I’ve already got 4 chapters written on it. Crazy, I know, right? I think 4… 3 plus the prologue.

There’s a song in my head right now and I can’t think of what it is or who sings it, but it’s an older song. I can’t even remember the words to it so it’s annoying the crap out of me. Anyway, I’m sitting here in bed after my first day back at work this week. I haven’t written anything in over a week I think and I’m kind of itching to write but I’m feeling kind of blah about Carter right now thanks to Nashville, so I don’t know. I might try to write some before heading to bed.

Let’s just say that, well Thursday (can’t say yesterday because it’s now Saturday technicaly) was an awesome fucking day. Seeing Luke Bryan in concert, up close and personal is one thing but when he brings along one of the guys who has been apart of my life since I was 14-years-old and who has helped me become who I am today, Mr. Rhett Akins, it’s a whole new ball game. I’ve loved Rhett since I 14 when he first came out with his first single. In the video there on the right, Luke talks about seeing Rhett in Albany. I…..[continue reading...]

I’ve had that song in my head all day. This time tomorrow I’ll be seeing Luke Bryan and my hometown boy Rhett and I will be in complete bliss, but for some reason I’m not as excited about it as I should be. Most of my friends around here have all graduated and gotten jobs that have taken them away and I don’t have anybody to go with me. Then it’s on a Thursday night and the friends that I do have in a drivable distance, have work Friday morning.

I’ve got the Brad Paisley / Carrie Underwood song “Remind Me” on repeat on YouTube. I can’t get enough of the song, mostly because it reminds me of Nick and Taylor so much, but mostly because I love Brad and Carrie together. I think they are the new Conway Twitty / Loretta Lynn of country music. They have been hosting the CMA Awards together for the past few years and they have a great dynamic together.

you’re lookin’ so damn hot… I’m on a Luke Bryan kick! Next Thursday! My two South Georgia boys! I’m so excited! The interview Monday went great. He was interviewed by Erin Andrews (from ESPN) before me. Eeek! Apparently he also did Ellen Monday and it came on today, but I missed it. I feel so important!

I’m taking a listen to the new BSB song that leaked yesterday. I listened yesterday, but i really wasn’t in the right frame of mood being that I was coming down with a cold and feeling like shit. I still feel like poo, but after seeing everyone talk about it on Twitter i got curious..

I’m hooked on Not The Other Guy today. It’s my tune of the day! So, I’ve read all the feedback from yesterday.. and you all pretty much said the same. Makes me sad that you hate Rayne, but all will be revealed soon! And because I love you all, I’m updating with the next chapter! Can’t wait to read your reviews on that one!

So I’m obsessed with a song called “Heart Skips A Beat” By Olly Murs. He’s a UK artist who was actually a contestant on the UK X Factor in 2009. He didn’t win, but is actually more famous than the guy who did. I don’t really rate his music that much, but i LOVE LOVE this song. You guys should check it out and tell me what you think!

Right now I’m listening to the new Lady Antebellum album, hoping it inspires me, but so far, it’s not :( Which really sucks because I need that inspiration.

I have that Jordan Knight song stuck in my head at the moment. My in-brain music memory keeps playing that, and Nicki Minaj (or as i like to call her, Nick I’m In AJ) Super Bass. Its the first time I’ve ever listened to a Nicki Minaj song, and i love it!

I have been wanting to write a blog post about a few topics such as VIP’s and Nick’s solo promotion for a while, but decided against it. Besides the Miami Acoustic show, I had never experienced VIP before so how could I write a blog post calling out the inconsistencies of it? Sure, I heard them from my friends, but never experienced it myself – until Orlando. It seems that not many Backstreet Boys fans have had problems with VIP and how the Backstreet Boys fan club runs them until this year when they saw how the New Kids on…..[continue reading...]
