Sarah had work last night and I have work today. I tried going through photos last night but passed out around 8:30. I only got two hours sleep the night before and drove hm, God knows how many hours… from South Carolina, through Georgia, to Florida, then back to Georgia.

Hey, I went to so many “Now or Never” shows that I think one “I’m Taking Off” show is okay. It looks like Michelle and her friend are going, although I’m not sure which one, which one is it Michelle? Then Sarah, Mara and I are going and I’m hoping Trish is! Needs to talk to her today or tomorrow to find out for sure.
What pisses me off and I know it’s not Nick’s fault because the artists don’t handle this portion of the job is the lack of Southern and West Coast dates. Two dates in the south – Nashville and South Carolina. NONE on the west coast except that birthday thing which isn’t really a concert in Las Vegas. All the shows are in the north east mainly. In two weeks, I’m heading to I-95 to meet Trish and she and I are driving to Jacksonville and taking the Amtrak down to Miami to meet Kristy! Then Rachelle is arriving that morning!
Apparently we are supposed to get our schedules today (Thursday) or tomorrow and I can’t wait. I hope they do karaoke or something fun again that more than just a handful of people can take part in.

Seeing Luke Bryan in concert, up close and personal is one thing but when he brings along one of the guys who has been apart of my life since I was 14-years-old and who has helped me become who I am today, Mr. Rhett Akins, it’s a whole new ball game.
I’ve loved Rhett since I 14 when he first came out with his first single. In the video there on the right, Luke talks about seeing Rhett in Albany. I was at that same concert, it was when Rhett opened up for Reba McEntire. Just the thought of how Rhett inspired Luke and myself in that first concert says so much. Rhett is just amazing. (more…)

I will be wearing a Karah original, thankyouverymuch. As soon as it arrives, hopefully Thursday, I will start the process of getting the material and sewing. It’s like “Pretty in Pink” but Karah style. I’ve designed out what I’m going to make and have shown a few people. It’s very me. It’s very Karah. I’m not one to go all glam in a ballroom gown or anything. I’m a tomboy at heart. It’s gonna rock. (more…)
