I did a little housekeeping the site here today. Feedburner was getting on my nerves because it would send out e-mail updates HOURS after updating, so I incorporated a new one, that will *hopefully* send them out as soon as we post an update post like this. Right now, in one week, a good number of us will be on the Carnival Imagination and getting ready for our 80′s party! Some will be in the game show, while others will have it earlier that afternoon (Group B – which I’m in). I can’t believe it’s actually freakin’ here. After tonight, I work Monday and Tuesday and then I’m free! Getting up hella early Thursday morning, like 2 a.m. early to drive over and meet Trish before heading to Jacksonville and catch the Amtrak train. That song is stuck in my head for some God forsaken reason. So the pre-cruise event was announced today (well, yesterday now). And I was right, it’s a club event. Kristy and I (and Trish, Rachelle’s roommate) won’t be going because we’re gonna have a kick ass time at the hotel! So if anybody else doesn’t want to go and want to hang out, let me know! We’re going to work on our cruise door that night a little.

Leave it to Tony Stewart to wait until I wasn’t working to win a race so I couldn’t design it! But I don’t care, he won today and he’s second in points in the Chase (behind Kevin Harvick) and I’m ecstatic about it. Ya’ll might remember Tony from “Turn Right.” I <3 him.

So something happened last night. Since this past weekend, I’ve been going over a story idea in my head. I blame it all on NASCAR and the Daytona 500, but it got the wheels in my head turning. Wheels that I thought needed some WD-40 or something for the past week and a half. Well if I’m honest with myself, two or three weeks probably.

Got a new layout, do you like it? The site needed a change. I don’t think I’ve ever had a layout on a site THAT long like the last layout on the site here. MC needed something fresh and I think this is it. It’s nice and clean. I’ll change the graphic every so often, but for the time being, I like this one. Nick + Guitar = Karah be happy.

Wow, this week has been full of birthdays. First Elvis, now AJ! Happy birthday my second favorite and a close second Backstreet Boy AJ McLean! You will hold a special place in my heart that Nick can never fill because of the shit that we both have been through. I heart you!

Let’s just say today has been a good day. On top of hearing that the New Kids On The Block / Backstreet Boys tour is confirmed, Brett Favre is back with the Minnesota Vikings and I find out that Luke Bryan is doing a small Georgia tour next month! First off, NKOTB/BSB tour…. I’m excited about it. New Kids on the Block were my first concert when I was in 4th grade. I’m going to start doing this thing where I’m going to recommend some new fan fiction writers to you guys. First off, we have Jessie, who isn’t new to fan fiction. You’ve seen her comments around the web site here. She was corrupted by me as a 14-year-old reading “I Wanna Be Bad.” Now, she’s an awesome grown-up Jonas Brothers fan fiction writer.

God, I love you guys so much! You guys have gave me such great feedback for “Turn Right” and it makes me so happy. I know a lot of people who read my stuff here aren’t NASCAR fans and do not know anything about it. But I promise, like I promised in some of my comments to your feedback that you won’t learn what makes the motors go fast or anything like that. It won’t get too in depth in NASCARness. It’s mostly the characters and just the general sport, that’s all.. I promise!

So I was sitting at work today when I got a tweet from my friend telling me to look closely at the photo that AJ had just twittered. So I go and look (click here to see the photo) again and what do I see? A No. 20 Home Depot NASCAR hat. By God, could AJ like NASCAR?

Happy Easter everybody! For me it’s just a normal Sunday. I woke up around noon because I didn’t get home until almost 2 a.m. I’m going to go shower in a few and get ready for another Sunday at work without NASCAR going on. That’s going to make things interesting because well, I don’t want to bore you! So, it looks like I may be going to three Backstreet Boys shows this tour! Of course, most of them are within a week’s time.

First off, I want to apologize for the lack of updates around here since December… well over a month. I was doing so well there for a while with updating but work and life caught up with me and just didn’t have much time. Things have been crazy for me. I’ve taken on a few new responsibilities at work and have been busy designing and writing more. I love it, of course.
