Leave it to Tony Stewart to wait until I wasn’t working to win a race so I couldn’t design it! But I don’t care, he won today and he’s second in points in the Chase (behind Kevin Harvick) and I’m ecstatic about it. Ya’ll might remember Tony from “Turn Right.” I <3 him.

About 15 minutes ago, I finished writing “Ours,” which is the end of “The Story of Us” series with Nick and Harley. I’ve been writing them for almost a year now, so the first thought I had after sending Kristy and Lisa the e-mail with the chapter was…. now what?

Whoooo! So what’s up everybody? It’s been a crazy few days, I know. It was a crazy night at work tonight, that’s for sure. I didn’t get to go and see Luke Bryan yesterday or Kellie Pickler tonight, but I’m sure I wasn’t missed lol Things have just been really crazy with work. BUT… I have three whole days off Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and I can’t wait! I haven’t had two days off in a row in a few weeks so three just makes me giddy as hell!

First off, I want to thank everybody who voted in the Kaw Awards because I won Best Kaw Fan Fiction Writer! So thank you to everybody that voted. I haven’t won something online for writing in such a long time, so it kind of makes me feel like I’m doing something right!

God, the past few days have been so tiresome so I went to sleep around 10:30 last night and slept until I believe it was 1 or so this afternoon. I needed it. I probably would have fallen asleep earlier last night but I kept playing “Words with Friends” on my iPhone and watching “Scrubs” and ended up falling asleep with my laptop on top of me and my glasses on. But anywho, ya’ll don’t care about that.

I know that the past week my brain as been working over time and today, having a full day off to be a lazy bitch, even though I worked on my portfolio / photography site while being lazy, I’ve been thinking a lot. First off, thanks for all the feedback on the last two chapters. I’m sitting here listening to Jason Aldean’s album that came out today and he has a duet with Kelly Clarkson on there that I love. It’s one of those Tim McGraw / Faith Hill type ballads. I’m in love. Expect a songfic for it soon.

“Turn Right,” a story that I started on a whim in July by a late night discussion with Jessie is now complete with 33 chapters, all named after Rascal Flatts songs.

You know, it’s not every day that you get to meet one of your favorite singers while walking back to your car in a cow pasture to make sure that it was locked. That’s what happened yesterday after putting chairs out for the Luke Bryan concert. Well Tuesday, it’s technically Thursday now.
