First off, 12 years ago today, one of my best friends from high school and I decided to come up with a web site. I was just getting into web design and we decided to call it Boys In A Bottle. About a year later, that site because My Confession. But here we are, 12 years later and so much has changed – the site, myself, the boys.
I really think the site going away for a bit did me some good. It let me find myself as a journalist and a creative writer and I can’t tell you how thankful I am to know that some of you from the old days have stuck around. Then there are all the new readers. Even though Lisa is new to the site, I know she and I both thank you from the bottom of our hearts! (more…)

I know that the past week my brain as been working over time and today, having a full day off to be a lazy bitch, even though I worked on my portfolio / photography site while being lazy, I’ve been thinking a lot. A lot of that thinking was about the BSB fandom and of course, my writing.
I will absolutely never shut this site down again and make it disappear from the web. Over the last almost three years, having been back in the game, I’ve seen how many people enjoy my stories. Whether it’s the new stories or the old ones that I think are complete crap, there’s those of you who love them and I love that. (more…)

First off, I’m having writer’s block with “Turn Right.” I’ve tried writing over the past two days and nothing. NOTHING. I can’t do anything. Let’s just say today has been a good day. On top of hearing that the New Kids On The Block / Backstreet Boys tour is confirmed, Brett Favre is back with the Minnesota Vikings and I find out that Luke Bryan is doing a small Georgia tour next month!
First off, NKOTB/BSB tour…. I’m excited about it. New Kids on the Block were my first concert when I was in 4th grade. It would have been in 3rd grade but their show here was sold out before my Mom and Aunt could get my cousin and I tickets. A lot of BSB fans don’t like the idea, but I do. For one thing, it’s great publicity and with Backstreet Boys promoting a new album probably at the same time next year on a new label, it’s even better. (more…)

Sorry, that song has been in my head since I watched “The Runaways” last night. I’ve always loved Joan Jett, but I’m a little disappointed that the movie focused more on Cherie Currie. I was pleased though with Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter Riley playing Marie Currie (Cherie’s sister). I thought she did really well. (more…)
