August can only mean one thing…

Are you ready for some football? Football is gearing up so that means that Karah’s going to be working even more and even harder, so I’m just giving you guys fair warning right now that updates this fall might not be coming every day or every other day like they have this summer. The fall (football season) is my busiest time of the year.

Two is better than one…

Gee, I bet you guys know what that title is all about now, don’t you? Thank you guys for the feedback on the chapter yesterday and the post before this one. I really was bugging a little with that chapter but I think I made the right decision.

Sorry, I’m not drunk or shooting small animals right now, I’m listening to Luke Bryan and it’s the song that’s playing right now, which is why I named this post that. When I don’t name it something right off, I tend to forget to name it at all.

And now for a commercial break….

Hey everybody! Congratulate Krystle for being the first Trivia winner! I will do another one in a few weeks and Krystle can’t win it again, so maybe you guys will have a chance. <3 you Krystle. On that note, I’m sitting here at work waiting on some baseball games to finish. I’m halfway done with the next chapter, which I don’t have a title for yet but I asked readers and friends on Twitter what they thought would be happening next. Now I’m asking you guys, what do you think will happen in “We Weren’t Crazy” next?

The one where I forgot to name it…

I’ve been sitting at work for almost seven hours now I think. I’ve lost count. All I know is I have to work 12 hours today to get all of my hours in. *Yawn* The above photo was from last weekend’s concert that I shot of Josh Turner. Eh, he’s not my favorite but he seemed nice backstage. I prefer Josh Gracin over Josh Turner, by far.

Every rose has it’s thorn…

I got my high-speed DSL today! I’m giddy as hell about it too. I’m sitting here listening to Bret Michael’s new album, “Custom Built.” There’s a country version of “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn” with one of my favorite singers, Mark Wills, along with Brad Arnold from 3 Doors Down and Chris Cagle. Mark Wills inspired the next chapter of “We Weren’t Crazy.”

It feels good to prove them wrong…

Hey everybody! Tomorrow is the day that I finally get some good, fast internet *knock on wood* Sorry, it’s been a long time. Today was a lazy day off of work. I cleaned up some, dyed my hair red and watched “Dallas” on DVD. However, I did get a little writing done.

Yeah, that’s our kind of love….

You are reading the post of the happiest person in Georgia right now. So I always complain about my sucky internet. I have the city’s wireless internet because I don’t have a home phone. Well the phone provider has now changed it so that you can get DSL without having a home phone. Come Wednesday, Karah’s gotta be slap happy like a pig in shit! Yeah, that’s a southern term…

Wake up in the mornin’ feelin’ like P. Diddy…

I have that line stuck in my head and it has been there ALL DAY. I have my Lady GaGa and Ke$ha CD in my car and so that was the last thing I listened to. Oh joy!

What’s next?

Jul 15th, 2010 | By

So now that you’ve read up to Chapter 16 in “We Weren’t Crazy,” what do you guys think happens next?

I could never love you enough…

If you’re a big “I Wanna Be Bad” fan, then you recognize the title of this post. It’s the song that Tara wrote for Nick and performed with Brian. I won’t give anymore away if you haven’t read the whole story *glares at Penni*

Rain is a good thing

First off, I want to thank everybody for the birthday wishes yesterday. It was a normal day. I went to work, wrote a story and edited photos for said story. Went shopping a little and came home. That pretty much was my 30th birthday. How sad is that? Well, like I said before, most of my friends have jobs or lives outside of my area and the ones that do live here had to work. Which is fine, because I’ve had to work on their birthdays, graduations, etc. It’s a part of life, I guess.

Damn the Mac/Windows thing…. I tried.

Jul 11th, 2010 | By

So at home, I have Windows computers. At work, I have a fairly new Mac. So I was all set today while waiting for some sports stories to come in so I could actually do some work to put up some old stories of mine. I found one this past week that a lot of people had been asking about.
